Rules Summary
Take turns reading or completing terrible dad jokes and puns. Players vote, laugh, or groan, and the funniest or most painfully cheesy joke wins the round.
How to Play
Objective Have the most fun or score the most points by delivering the best worst dad jokes, making other players laugh or groan, and winning rounds based on group judgment or simple scoring. Setup Shuffle the joke cards and place them within reach of all players. Choose a starting player. If the game includes categories or challenge cards, separate them as directed and keep them nearby. Turn Structure The active player draws or reveals a joke prompt or card. They read the joke aloud, complete a pun, or choose the funniest response depending on the card type. Other players may vote, react, or submit their own matching joke cards if playing competitively. Award the round to the player whose joke gets the best reaction, the most votes, or meets the scenario objective. Play passes clockwise to the next player. End of Game End after a set number of rounds, when the deck runs low, or when a player reaches an agreed score total. The player with the most points or round wins is the winner. Notes This is a light social game; many groups may ignore formal scoring and simply play for laughs. The exact official rules may vary by edition, but the core experience centers on reading and reacting to intentionally bad jokes.
